| Just completed: New clutch/ throw out bearing, pilot bushing, new fan belt, new exhaust gaskets, new manifold gaskets,new spark plugs, (6) quarts new spark plug wires, new valve cover gaskets, new heat riser gasket, rebuilt carb/ w kit, new exhaust bolts, exhaust bolts, new chrome drivers side mirror engine & compartment detailed and more ! November 18, 2015. 8-11-21 Car with CO Title by David Seidel from Calvin Gane of Johnstown, CO. Calvin owned car for approximately 4 years and reported no significant repairs/updates during that period. 8-2021 Replaced plugs, distributor cap, rotor, points, condenser and valve cover gaskets. New Optima battery. 1-6-22 The Restoration Station in Springboro, OH performed the following: Installed new heater core supplied by from Keen Corvette Parts and reconfigured brass tubes to match original. Repaired original wiper motor. Replaced engine wiring harness. Replaced vacuum hose kit. Replaced wiper vacuum override valve, wiper door vacuum control valve, headlight vacuum control valve, wiper motor override switch, override switch knob and repaired wiper door limit switch. After these repairs, there is no more vacuum leak diluting the #8 intake runner and engine running smoothly. Headlights and wipers functioning properly. Trimmed-in idle mixture, lubricated carb linkage and increased cold fast idle. Full invoice report with pictures available. |
