1) This is the first of the C-3 Corvettes which is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year. This is a 4-speed, close-ratio manual shift vehicle with p/s & p/b. The high output (H.O.) 454 c.i.d. engine (425 horsepower) was installed in Sept. 2015 at 52,765 odometer miles and now has 54,900 miles so approximately 2200 miles in the past 2 1/2 years on engine, carburetor, alternator & power steering compressor. Car has been garaged for past 12+ years when not being driven and has had all scheduled maintenance. I would not be concerned about jumping in it today and driving cross-country - very dependable. The headlights both raise and lower as designed. Has Hooker headers & new exhaust system as well. It does need some minor work, specifically the windshield wipers don't work, which may just need a vacuum hookup to the wipers and access door. The front convertible striker plates are worn and should be replaced and the top stretched to fit. If you're a dealer don't expect a new vehicle, the chrome is worn, the door lock missing on the driver's side and some other minor touch-ups. Now's the time to buy this beauty and enjoy the convertible weather coming up. Forgot to mention earlier, also has new tires. Sold for $19,500 on April 11, 2018.
