This matching-numbers Corvette convertible has only 39,842 miles on the odometer. One year only color code 992 Corvette Bronze, this is the original color to this car. The interior is also the rare Dark Orange leather interior code 426. This color combination is very desirable and only offered in 1968. |

| One of only 2,898 Corvettes produced in model year 1968 factory optioned with the legendary tri-power 427 CI V-8 (Code L71) producing 435 HP, Finished in Corvette Bronze, it is equipped with the factory 4-speed manual transmission, the optional factory auxiliary hardtop and the standard convertible soft top. The tri-power induction system is comprised of three 2-barrel carburetors placed atop an aluminum intake manifold. The center 2-barrel carburetor operates under normal load conditions and moderate driving style. The remaining twin 2-barrel carburetors would open up to provide a heavy dose of fuel for spirited driving. It was under-rated at 435 HP, but the output figures were kept low to keep the insurance companies. |
