2) 1969 Riverside Gold Corvette Stingray. This rare color option was ONLY offered by Corvette in 1969. The sequential number shows the car was an early build - built during the first month of production (Sept 1968). Engine is a 427 390 HP with automatic, power steering. Car has new tires, new HP radiator, 4 new brake calipers, new battery, and a folder of many many many more receipts and history. Runs and drives. Undercarriage is one of the best I've seen. I am not a dealer and the only reason I am selling this car is because I am starting a healthcare business and need the startup capital. NOTE - Odometer shows 44224 but it is not changing anymore so we can assume it stopped working. I will disclose the mileage as unknown. The speedometer works, battery gauge works, fuel gauge works, oil gauge appears to work but I always check it anyway, temp gauge works. I only notice two gauges not working and those are RPM and clock. I have a CORVETTE style radio that comes with the car, too. In rear, tail lights, break lights, and turn signals work. I just installed new filler neck seal (boot), gasket, rubber nipple, gas cap, and drain hose. Carburetor #7029204 Block # 3963512 Intake # 3947801 Appears to be original Astro glass I can't see the number on the rear end but it appears to be posi traction. Headlights are is good shape and they work; however, I believe there is a small vacuum leak that keeps them from raising up all the way. I can pull them up the rest of the way when driving at night. Sold for $25,600 on September 4, 2016. 1) Direct from a local storage unit, one very cool find! A OLDER RESTORED 1969 Corvette Stingray 427 Big block in original colors and specs! We installed a new battery, gas and bled the brakes and she now runs and drives. Highlights include: 427 engine (not numbers matching), Automatic Transmission, POWER STEERING, Showing just under 45k miles, that could be true. Excellent frame and birdcage, Nice interior (mostly new from a few years back), Good brakes, but they need a few pumps to work correctly, so probably needs a master cylinder, Good paint, Good glass, Nice carpet, Nearly new tires, Folder full of receipts, Nice dash, Some spare parts and workshop manual, Clear Title. So what does she need? Well as a clean driver, tune up work, servicing and vacuum leaks on the headlights. 44,224 miles from the odometer. Sold at $19,900. March 28, 2016. |
