For Sale: a nice, complete and great running 1968 Corvette Convertible, 327/350 hp, 4-speed. Frame-on restoration. The car has been restored to the correct color paint and interior based on the trim tag. The car is the correct british green with the correct saddle interior. I restored the car back to the original paint and interior in 2004. The paint is a 8.5 out of 10 (10 being show quality). Interior is like new and complete. All of the gauges work, including the clock. Headlights work. The engine was professionally rebuilt by the previous owner and runs great. The block is a numbers matching block and appears to be the original block based on the engine pad (see pictures). The engine compartment does have some aftermarket and chrome parts. The engine parts that have been replaced were replaced with OEM and/or reproduction parts based on factory and NCRS specs. The car is a late production vehicle (7/17/1968) and has many factory corrections that were implemented for the 1969 model year. NOTE: I cannot get a clear picture of the trim tag in the driver door jam. Trim tag reads TRIM 420 PAINT 983. The trim tag is original and is using a 1969 trim code for the interior (420 = saddle/vinyl). I have owned the car twice since 2003 and it has been driven only on sunny Colorado days. I would drive this car anywhere and anytime. The car looks, sounds and runs great!! Corvettes are a great investment and hold their value.
