1968 corvette 2 top convertible driver, semi restored original miles, the orig matching # L79 Shp v8 327/350hp the car was born with is In the car and running healthy. The drivetrain is completely the orig from day one except for hurst shifter. The frame is super clean and solid as it was a western car. The hardtop is very nice and headliner solid. May need weatherstripping. Has orig weatherstripping. This was a LATE 1968 car, Meaning, the assembly line was already tooling up for the 69 model year. In fact, what you see missing is the Muncie stock shifter. Also,previous owner (a real Northern lights freak) decided to have some beautiful custom airbrush work under hood of Orion borealis in the Western Hemisphere and a beautiful girl (showing well) coming out of a martini glass. Brings attention at car shows. I like it but someone may say it doesn't appeal so they can just take detail black spray balm and bring back to orig. The car has a10 year rally red paint on a never hit body with no crack finish and orig interior. Just tuned up. Car runs great and looks great. The original equipment options: hardtop, tinted windows, am/fm , L79, K19, M21, 4 spd, 370 posi, Off road exhaust, Rally wheel trim, GM dealer installed fire extinguisher, floor mats, Stainless Steel calipers, power steering, power brakes and original F78-15 spare (unused) and a brand new black convertible top.
The fiber optics all work,original A.I.R. equip installed and correct. The nice chrome bumpers and White letter radials and rally trim sets the car off. BiN $27,500. September 2016. |
