Beautiful example of this original California matching #'s 'HZ' code 350/300HP engine 1969 Chevrolet Corvette, built in November 1969 and although a 1969 model as proven by its VIN #, please note that it has been titled in California as a 1970 model which we believe is incorrect. Repainted white from its original 'Riverside Gold' (Code 980) color with a newly repholstered Black interior in leather from its original vinyl (Code ZQ4) with factory power steering and air conditioning! The original matching numbers 350/300HP V8 cylinder engine is extremely strong and powerful and sounds absolutely magnificent and this particular car drives extraordinarily well - must be driven to be appreciated - does not miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day car a run for its money! This is an original California car which was purchased by its most recent southern California mature female owner in 1998 from a 'Walt Disney Corporation' executive, following many years in storage and which was appraised at the time by a local professional classic car appraiser in #3 condition in good running condition with a copy of the appraisal dated 12/14/98 available. The car was then restored by the same owner over the following years and finished in 2001; it was professionally repainted in white with new leather seats installed and with all the chrome being redone. At the same time, all the accessories were refurbished, the air conditioning was rebuilt, the front end was rebuilt and the interior redone. The car was then reappraised by the same appraiser on 10/18/2001 confirming the quality of the restoration and copies of both appraisals are available and will be included in the sale of the car. The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are solid and rust free and the car has no signs of any accidents. This is a rare opportunity to own a beautifully restored example of a very well maintained and cared for original southern California 1969 Corvette in great daily driving condition for the Corvette enthusiast or collector or simply any classic American muscle car enthusiast to enjoy today! Color codes from the trim plate. Assembly date is P07. 95,678 miles from the odometer. $24,500. January 5, 2013.
