COMES WITH LARGE BOOK OF DOCUMENTATION INCLUDING ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE, ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER, ORIGINAL BUILD-SHEET, ORIGINAL GM DEALER DOCS PACKAGE, JUDGING SHEETS, OWNER HISTORY. No bid at starting $30,000 on February 1, 2018. 1) 1972 Corvette LS5 Coupe Survivor, 53,932 Original Miles, Multiple NCRS Top Flight Awards, Completely Documented including GM of Canada, Completely Original Born-With Drivetrain, Runs and Drives Beautifully, The engine was assembled on September 21, 1971. CSS indicates 454/270 HP Automatic. Owner History: Mr. Andre Gaumond purchased this Beautiful Corvette new and owned it until approximately 1989. He accumulated approximately 48,500 in this time according to his handwritten notes. Mr. Jean LeSage, an NCRS Judge, purchased the car from Mr. Gaumond and after a thorough detailing began to show the Corvette at various NCRS events through the 1990s as evidenced by the awards and judging sheets. I purchased the Corvette from Legendary Motorcars LTD. of Toronto. You know, the Dream Car Garage guys. I believe that they purchased the car from Mr LeSage with approximately 53,000 miles. This Corvette still wears its Original Paint, Glass and Interior. It is a completely Numbers Matching Born-With Drivetrain Corvette! Virtually every component is original including the engine block, cylinder heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, carburetor, alternator, radiator, transmission, differential. Mr. LeSage detailed the engine compartment. I probably would not have done it but, it really is beautiful. The NCRS judging sheets will also come with the Corvette. The car scored 95.2. The Corvette is now titled in Indiana in my name. Finally, in order to answer the most commonly asked questions, I thought that I'd post them here in no particular order: - The Corvette is equipped exactly as delineated on the GM of Canada Docs. 454, Turbo 400 Automatic, 3.08:1 positraction, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt & Telescopic Wheel, F70x15 White Lettered Tires on Rally Wheels, AM/FM Stereo and Canadian A.I.R. Equipment. - The Corvette does not burn any oil and operates perfectly on 93 Octane Unleaded fuel. - The frame is very solid with no evidence of rust or rust repair. - All of the body panels and paint are original with all of the original bonding strips in place. - There are no issues with the car at all. You can fly in and drive it home. 53,932 miles. September 25, 2011. |
