The Good:
This is not a show car but a driver quality car.

I bought this in June 2015, from a lawyer who had it for approximately 25
years, he was an enthusiast, but not too mechanically inclined, this said he
spared no expense in the upkeep of the Corvette and attended to the needs on
schedule, witness the large collection of invoices and receipts.

When I went to get it (I live in Los Angeles the car was in Palm Springs California)
I inspected the bird cage behind the kick panels and found minimal surface rust
common with these cars and I also closely inspected with a small hammer;
tapping the frame under the car listening for thuds instead of metal ringing, it
rang throughout, I was satisfied that the most important part of the car and
the one that would cause the most grief if rusting was not detected.

Have all receipts, and records from previous owners (very impressive) and my own...

I had it for approximately 8 to 9 months; I need the funds for another project.

When I got the car I immediately start tinkering on the car to make it better, to
my specs, this said this car is not 100 percent original, it has some well executed
common sense modifications.

1982 Corvette Automatic, Beautiful dark Metallic Blue
Starts right up, idle at 600, pulls very hard, and shifts very well.
350 Crossfire Injection, No rust in the birdcage and undercarriage and I believe
is a California Car
Paperwork and Receipts for all work done and picture of most.
I am the 3rd owner; the previous owner was a lawyer who had it for 25 years
He put in new Engine with 50k miles on it, squeaky clean valve covers when I
pulled them and does not use any oil! transmission, rebuilt rear end, front
suspension, springs, shocks, seat covers, mufflers , 165 t-stat and Hyperchip.
Smogs No problem.

I put in new:
New valve cover gaskets, exhaust gaskets, Electric fan modification, Moog
lower ball joints, Timken front wheel bearings, front brake calipers, rotors,
pads, 4 braided steel brake lines, poly front sway bar bushings, aluminum
water pump, o2 sensor, throttle body snyc, cs144 high output 140amp
alternator modification, A pillar seals, LED dash lights, spread bar (this bar
stiffens the front control arm area, see pics) spreader bar installed for front
end stiffening

1987 TPI fuel pump upgrade, fuel filter, air filters, plugs, plug wires, cap
distributor rotor, Heater core, blower motor, horns, steering wheel, cleaned
and lubed both door locking mechanism, now JVC head unit and front speakers,
Converted the ram air of the crossfire injection for constant airflow
Viper alarm and keyless entry, new seat belts, I could forget some for sure but
have all receipts books and records.
Manual seats.

The Bad:

Previous owner took out the AC, I put in new Alan Grove brackets readying for
the Sanden 508, the evap and accumulator is intact, I have hoses, need to get
condenser and gas it up, this will be a much better set up that the original heavy
weight compressor.

Dash has small crack in one location
The rear end driver side stub shaft seal is leaking
No rear view mirror on windshield, but has mounting tab
No rear speaker, grills or brackets
No t-top straps
No sun visors,
No spare tire or tub
No jack
No trim rings
No Center hub caps

The rear bumper is a fiberglass replacement and I bought it hit on the right
side, the fibers were showing and I put some epoxy on it, so when I wash the
car the raw fibers would not absorb.

It also appears the passenger door was hit and the paint does not 100 percent
match, it still looks very good and shiny

The front nose ran into something and I bought a color match spray and shot it
without clear coat, the rest of the paint shows very well but has numerous chip
and scrapes.

Bottom line the car is solid and is better than when I bought it, I have over 40
years as a car enthusiast and I know a thing or two about working on cars and
cut corners. In the work that I have done in the past 9 months, I easily put in
700 hours of work.

I have pictures of most of the work I did.
