I have a 1968 Chevrolet Corvette, it is a 400 HP 427 tripower, matching numbers engine and transmission, information. The car shows the engine to be rebuilt 1300 miles ago, new clutch 1800 miles ago. This car was originally Safari Yellow (code 984) standard black interior, trim tag in door jamb reads F24 984 pnt. Muncie 4 speed is very clean i do not know if it has been rebuilt. The car appears to have a recent brake job, front rotors are new as are the pads, rear pads look new as well. KYB shocks all around. Interior is in very nice condition. numbers on the front of engine read T1219IM 8409861. rear casting number is 3916321. Transmission reads 186409861 P8A11 casting number on main case is 3925660 tailhousing is 3857584. rear end reads 1FA1 18 68 W. intake casting number is 3937795. Wheels are the correct size and offset, but 2 are damaged what appears to me as beyond repair, one possibly can be repaired, one appears undamaged. All tires have damage. Frame is bent, also left front suspension damage, body mounts are broken, rear body damage as well. I purchased this car for the drivetrain, since it is numbers matching, I decided to see if someone wants to repair it. If this car does not meet reserve,I will part it out...87,568 miles from the odometer. January 15, 2009.
