| 1969 Corvette 4 spd convertible. This car was purchased with several others. It has a solid body. reportedly a california car. Frame is good, no signs of rust or damage. It has a 4 speed manual trans. 350 engine. It was a 350/350 car. The nose was replaced sometime in the past with a 1973 nose for updating rather than damage. It looks like a professional job with everyhing lineing up well. The car has some rare options such as tilt telescoping steering wheel, two tops, rear window defroster. The hardtop is in good shape, the convertible top is OK but since it has been sitting for a while I did not want to stretch out the top to fit exactly. If left out in the sun it should fit ok. My mechanic got the car running to verify the condition of the engine and trans. He had to jump the starter. The engine is solid, runs well, no noises. the trans is ok. It has power disc brakes, Power Steering, Headers into side pipes. The car needs restoration. Paint, interior, glass cracked. It comes with a couple boxes of parts. It was sitting in storage for about 18 years. 82,871 miles. June 4, 2008. |
