08/12/2014 1979 Corvette Matching numbers, highly optioned (am/fm cassette, p/ant, p/w, p/l, rear def, tilt-tele, cruise and a/c) Outstanding red re-paint, removable body color roof panels, many new emblems, 15x8 rallys w/trim rings and center caps, the two front wheels are brand new from wheel vintiques, great BFG tires, completely rebuilt motor w/upgrades (Edelbrock intake, high perf HEI, coated headers, chrome acc.), completely rebuilt original quadrajet, rebuilt trans, rear end, steering, suspension, and brakes, front end components are all KYB, complete new Magnaflow exhaust, new battery, alternator, wiper motor, cruise control module, belts and hoses. All glass good, runs perfect. No noise, no smoke, no leaks. Just started interior. New shifter boot, trim plate, lens, new gauge panel, vents and lenses, new speedo lens and bezel, new ac/heat control unit and lens, aftermarket speakers (hidden in original locations, no cutting), new horn components, and new turn signal cancelling cam. Recently inspected. Needs a few odds and ends, mostly on the interior, like a carpet kit, the speedo needs recalibration, as we changed the rear gears to 3:73, when they installed the new heat/ac unit, they must have hit a wire because the stereo now stopped working, the power door locks do not work, and the power antenna stays up, drivers door lock cylinder frozen. The a/c probably needs re-charged. I never use it, as I am too tall to comfortably drive the car with the roof panels on, the wiper switch needs to be mounted properly.
