Car history:
1968 Corvette maroon with black interior 4 speed with 350HO needs restoration. Car runs and is street able but is a bit squirlly on the road due to a bad frame repair. From what I can tell the car is all original except for the wheels. Brake components are all new. Also for sale is a fully refinished Corvette Chassis that was originally from a 1980 Corvette. This chassis is ready to replace damaged frame. It has been stripped and painted with PPG silver, and accented with Victory Red on various pieces. It has a full set of Energy Suspension Poly bushings (red), new springs and sway bars, new u-joints, shocks, and completely rebuilt steering system. It also has a complete set of new STAINLESS brake lines, all mounted with stainless button head fasteners. All of the u-joints, bushings, bearings, brake pads and rotors, etc have been replaced and have "0" miles. This chassis is being sold as-is, with only the items shown in the picture. The engine is the factory 350 for the car, which was rebuilt by the previous owner and was stated to have approximately 5000 miles on it. We have added a new Holley carb, MSD Street fire HEI distributor, aluminum water pump, new starter, balancer, fuel pump, valve covers, etc, and as the title states is being sold as a running motor. (some parts will be necessary to complete once installed in your car. These are including but not limited to - alternator and brackets, pulleys, belts, hoses, temp/oil sensors, etc. We have assembled this motor to test run it, but have only done so for a short time since there is no cooling system attached. The motor runs smooth and holds great oil pressure and there are no signs of oil burning or leaks. The transmission has not been tested as of this listing.
