1) I purchased this 68 3 years ago from the 2end owner. He purchased the car in 1970 and put it into storage in 1994. It still has the original plate on it form when he parked it. This is a very original numbers matching 4 speed Corvette, with some unusual options and original build sheet. Options include U15 speed warning, U69 with the U79 stereo option, N36 telescopic column, C50 rear window defogger, A01 tinted glass and A82 head restraint seats. The paint is original form the doors back. I count not find any damage to the front end anywhere. This Corvette was built in July of 1968. Here are all the casting numbers and date codes that I was able to verify off this 68. When I purchased this car 3 years ago I went through the car got it running. Detailed the engine. There were some things that needed replaced. New calipers, brake master cylinder, heater core, new exhaust, complete tune up, back up light switch on trans, changed all the fluids and sent the radio, multiplexer and wiper motor off for reconditioning. Replaced the seat covers and carpet everything else on the interior is original. This beautiful 1968 Corvette has been sitting in my personal collection for the past 3 years. I got the car out 2 weeks ago and drove it about 100 miles running some fresh gas though it and the car did great with no major issues. Everything works on this car but the clock. Has all the original ignition shielding spare wheel and original jack. Frame and birdcage are solid. Sold for $17,600 on November 9, 2017. Sold for $16,900 on November 29, 2017.
