| I bought this Corvette 5 years ago. The car is in great shape and runs excellent! When I bought it, it ran rough. It had a vacuum leak. After much research, I realized that the 82' vette was notorious for bad throttle body bushings. I had them replaced. I also installed an heavy duty starter, alternator, pulley system, as well as the transmission rebuilt with a shift kit. It runs incredible! The shift kit is really a perk regarding the performance. The car has new powder-coated exhaust that was installed by the previous owner. The vehicle looks great on the outside with the only real imperfection is the front tip of the bumper is spider-webbed a bit. The driver's outside mirror has a rock chip on it as well. The interior is red, with red leather seats that are in top condition. The radio works, but only two speakers are working. The fuse is blown for the power seat, but it worked when I first bought it. The windshield wiper motor needs replacing. The air conditioning has a leak, but was working 3 years ago. It is not the compressor. The passenger headlight is slow to move up and down.That is the good and the ugly. If you want a great weekend Corvette with alot of sexiness, this is the one. I am only getting rid of it because I recently bought a Harley that me and my wife love riding, so we don't need the Corvette anymore. If you could only see it and drive it you would fall in love with it like we did. The t-tops have a mirror finish that match the vin. The car looks even better without them on. If you want a Corvette that looks and runs great, this is the one! Price: US $11,000.00 |
