Up for sale and your consideration is a 1979 Chevrolet Corvette with only 59,548 original miles and is turn key ready to drive home and enjoy the same day it is purchased ! It is not a 100 point show winning car, but it presents very well, and runs, drives, shifts and stops great ! This is a fly in and drive home anywhere Corvette that has just been serviced and tuned. Fly in to Allentown, PA "Lehigh Valley International Airport" and I will pick you up. It is 30 minutes from me. Drive your Corvette right home! Since this car was purchased as you see it, with a few minor upgrades, my summary of the car is based solely on a complete physical inspection and conversation with the previous owner who was a retired professional mechanic of over 30 years and who put alot of time and work into this Corvette. It has never been hit, but did receive one repaint due to the fading of the original silver paint. Close inspection of the paint job will reveal some imperfections, but the general appearance is very eye pleasing. The car has it's own unique look with the addition of a fiberglass 1980-1982 style rear bumper with spoiler, early style rally wheels with police style center caps, and 1963-1967 style functional side exhaust that has a unique powerful sound and tone. The interior is equipped with real leather black bucket seats, and also presents very well. It is a T-Top car and the original T-Top jackets are in the storage compartment. The headlights are in excellent working order, due to the replacement of the vacuum actuator canisters. The brakes and tires are also new. Please take the time to look at all the photos. I even put this car up on a lift to photo the undercarriage to show the solid integrity of the car and suspension. As you can see in the underside photos, the front and rear suspension have had new bushings installed. A-frames, driveshafts, and other related parts were cleaned and painted before being reinstalled. This illustrates the integrity and dedication to detail of the previous owner. Under hood photos reveal a number of new parts recently installed. Original driveline is intact and the engine is the original 350 V8 with the serial number and the engine code V0514ZA appearing on the flat boss on the right side of the block. The transmission is the three speed automatic. Again this is not a 100 point show car, but is a very attractive driver that will give the new owner many years and many thousands of miles of cruising pleasure.
