| The 1971 Corvette RPO LS6 Engine option was the last time GM offered a solid lifter, aluminum head, big block in a Corvette. The GM engine is rated at 425 Gross Horse Power at 454 cubic inches (7.4 liters), a cast-iron "big-block" with aluminum heads, the first LS6 was second only to the full-blown L88 racing engine offered from 1967 through 1969 in relationship to both power and legend. Only 188 of these RPO LS6 Engine optioned Corvettes were produced. What makes this Corvette unique, is the M22 heavy-duty, close-ratio four-speed manual transmission that very few of the LS6 Corvette production included. This Corvette retains all of its original glass, interior, and fiberglass. This is an original numbers matching drive train (engine, transmission, rear). A very original car with 84,000 miles and one repaint. One of Three LS6 Corvettes exported to GM Canada. Includes GM Canada paperwork confirming the cars VIN, build date, and options. Car also has the original owners manual, original emission sticker, and an original Canadian Title. Car has been sitting in collection for about 13 years.
