This car was purchased at an estate auction, this is basically a one owner car.. I have only driven this car for about 15 miles, from the auction house to my house and around the block a couple times. I am not an expert in Corvettes so I will describe vehicle as best as I can. I have attached some General information about the car, I encourage all potential buyers to verify and inspect vehicle in person. CALIFORNIA SMOG CERTIFICATE IN HAND. History These limited production (6,759 units) Collectors Editions were lavishly equipped for the time and the highlights will be listed as follows: power steering, power four wheel disc brakes, factory air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, power outside rear view mirrors on both sides, factory original AM/FM electronic tuned stereo radio, power drivers seat and four B F Goodrich Radial tires. The special features of the Collectors Edition include an opening rear glass hatchback with built in defroster, special aluminum wheels that simulate the special 1967 "bolt on style", unique silver-beige paint, unique body appliqués, tri-tone silver beige leather interior with a special leather wrapped steering wheel and special cloisonné emblems. The exterior finish is close to show quality and definitely has been given great care with only a small blemish on the driver door and small chip of the pin stripe (see pictures). The interior is as nice as you would expect on such a low mileage automobile. All components function properly as far as I have tested, and this Corvette drives excellent. The glass is in excellent condition showing no stone chips, or scratches. This Collectors Edition Corvette definitely has serious collectable potential due to its low production and uniqueness. They are already becoming difficult to secure, especially one in this condition. One of the most unique and attractive Corvettes that were ever produced by GM and it was to celebrate the last model year of the body style that lasted fifteen years. This was the period of 1968 through 1982 and is called the C3 body style. Powered by a 350.c.i. 200 hp. Chevrolet V8 engine and is mated to a four speed automatic transmission. New for 1982, the transmission is equipped with a torque converter clutch operating the top three gears. Original miles and is in OUTSTANDING condition inside outside and underneath there are some areas with what appears to be surface rust. This car's paint is in very good to great condition looking to be show quality with very good to excellent condition decals showing no cracks or other major flaws. Taillights are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks. Factory Collector Edition-specific wheels are in very good condition with very good condition center caps. The interior of this 1982 Corvette Collector Edition looks all-original. Original seat covers are in good to very good condition and the door panels are in very good to excellent condition with no tears tight armrests and no cracking in the upper portions. Carpet appears to be original and is in very good to excellent condition as are the gauges, which show clear lenses and no fading. Steering wheel looks to be original and is in very good condition with no major cracking. Center console is in very good condition as well and the dash is in very good to excellent condition with no waving in the center. Seatbelts are in very good condition also and the rear storage bins are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks. Passenger side vanity mirror is completely intact which is rarely the case for even low mileage cars like this one. Factory AM/FM stereo is still in place along with T-top strap. The only area that I noticed was a small defect in the A/C controls as seen in the picture, and the Auto-Antenna does not come down. Correct air cleaner ignition shielding hoses air pump and a/c compressor are all in place and this engine compartment is extremely well detailed and ready to show. Frame is solid with some surface rust as seen in pictures. This car will include its original owner's manual, with all instrument gauges lights turn signals brakes engine transmission and rear-end in good operating condition. This car only needs minor TLC in the undercarriage to match those being sold for thousands and thousands more on other listings.
