1977 Corvette RARE 4-Speed !! Most all 77 Corvettes were automatics. This one was special ordered as a 4 speed (1 of 7,982) with a hot engine! Recently installed brand new HIGH PERFORMANCE 350 Cubic Inch 5.7 Liter with Racing Headers and a mid-range racing cam. Sound is WOW! Power is WOW! (Should be illegal to drive on the highway! But, I say the same about the new Z06 Corvettes also -They should be illegal to drive on the highway -Fast, Fast, Fast!! And this one is a LOT cheaper than a Z06!) The previous owner who built the motor and did all the upgrades spent over $22,000.00 doing this Corvette Makeover. New Red Paint. Cosmetics are good, but not a "restoration". He spent all the money on the power items! Leather seats are good with no tears. Dash has some cracks, but is covered neatly with a "Dash Mat" brand commercial cover. If you want the feel of a 1967 Corvette with better brakes and suspension, But cannot afford a $50K+ hot rod, this is the Corvette for you. It has all the performance at less than half the price! However, if you want a nice quiet ride, this ain't the Corvette for you. The sound borders on illegal. When you let off the gas after a hard run through the gears and decide to gear down heavily, expect some of the sweetest, most pleasurable, LOUD, gear down sound complete with low backfire sounds that you have ever heard. Your wife (or husband) or girlfriend (or boyfriend) are going to accuse you of "no mufflers at all!!" The "mufflers" look like the guts of the 1964-67 side pipes and are new. (Not even rusted yet!) Just AWESOME!!!!!!!!! The feel of the engine & transmission is absolutely powerful!! A run through the gears gives you the same adrenalin rush as sky diving!!! BREATH TAKING! Presses you back in the seat! Looking for a smooth quiet idle so you can sneak up and park with the ice cold air conditioning running? This ain't the Corvette for you. The idle is "racing cam" loud and rough. Want smooth? Anytime after 2000 RPM, maybe. Just hold onto your hat. Especially if you have the T-Tops off!!!!!!!! Hot Rod around with Factory Air Conditioning upgraded with an ice cold Vintage Air Compressor System. This is a great previously owned vehicle.This is a smoke-free automobile.There is no damage evident on this vehicle.
