| 1975 Corvette Stingray, model L-48. has 350cu in v8, turbo T4 automatic transmission. Runs and drives perfect. 31,000 original miles. There are documents of work and titles to confirm odometer hasn't rolled over. Car was in garage storage most of its life. 12yrs in Charlotte, N. Carolina another 8 years in Arizona, and in MA for 10 years where it was driven less than once a month on short trips to keep it running good. Silver w/ black vinyl interior, all original except for an added tapedeck stereo, and I'm unsure if the car alarm with key is original equipment, anyway it is not working (dont know why, univestigated). Seats are clean, virtually no wear, no cracks or rips, dashbord and pillars are nice, no cracks or fading. The carpet is original but is fadded in the main areas. All gages and switches and locks and accesories work great, including power windows. Exterior is in good shape, Looks great unless examined very closley. Paint is Original but has a couple very small chips that were touched up at some point, one on t-top, probably from bumping it into something. There is one spot of cracked paint by drivers door handle (shown in pictures), the fiberglass is Not damaged however. The rear bumper piece is a fiberglass replacement due to the original rubber one being dry rotted. Car has a lowbeam headlight out right now, and the passenger light is slow to flip up. All weather stripping is in excellent shape as well. Door stripping was replaced a few years back. T-tops are clean and function like new. Mechanically the car is solid, starts and idles perfectly, no leaks, no smoke. Mostly all the suspension bushings (front and rear) were replaced about 8years ago from being dried out. Car shows its age otherwise underneath from sitting around so much. Tires have been on the car awhile but are like new,, The wheels on it suffer from some rusty center caps and other spots of the chrome,, The Original wheels come w/ the car which are in perfect condition, w/ the trim rings and center caps, all very clean and straight, just dusty from sitting in basement. |
