| 05/29/2014 This is a very nice white (code 10) with red leather (code 722) L-82 4 speed that has been well cared for since new. The frame is clean, dry, solid and straight with virtually no rust. The body appears to be 100 original panels with an older professional repaint. There are a couple of imperfections in the paint but overall I would consider it very good to excellent. Both bumpers have excellent fit and finish. Headlamps work like they're supposed to and the engine compartment, except for the missing AIR pump appears to be all original and complete. The carb was replaced several years ago and is not original. The cat was removed and now has just a test pipe with a pair of Dynomax Super Turbos. A few years but not many miles ago the top end was rebuilt. It has a little more cam than a stock L-82 but not much. The car sounds good. The interior is excellent. Red leather seat covers appear as new as do the carpets. The door panels appear to be original and are in very nice shape. There are a couple of small cracks in the upper dash pad at the speaker perforations and the seat belts are a little faded. A/C has been converted to 134a and needs its annual charge. Spare tire, jack, t-top storage bags and strap are all in the car. Engine block is stamped CLD 7S411514, transmission is stamped 17S411514 WJ2462 (HD Borg Warner) and the differential is stamped OB 303WF7I (3:55 posi HD). Darren |
