Car history:
2) Here is an extremely nice 1969 Corvette Roadster, factory 350 4spd car. Options include factory a/c, power windows, locks, steering, brakes, tilt, telescopic, side pipes, 4 wheel disc brakes, soft top. Restoration included new paint in the winter of 09-10 by a professional body shop for 10k (bills to prove) in the factory color. The car looks awesome. A new interior from Corvette America which included new sound deadner, new carpet, new door panels, new foam in seats and new seat coverings. I also have the original headrests but I sent them to Corvette America for recovering and I should get them back any day now. Everything else was in good shape and left to orignal. The carpet was replaced front to back including the waterfall. The rag top is also new and in perfect shape. The motor is a non matching but factory LT1 CTV block from a '70 Vette and is complete carb to pan, it has all LT1 components including the factory snow flake aluminum intake. I have the original carb but I am running a new Holley 750 on it now. The original points were also replaced with the electronic system which works much better. Everything is there for the a/c system but not hooked up. The transmission is a muncie m-22 and i did find hand written markings on the rear floor pan indicating the L-46 mated to a m-22 tranny. I don't think you will find a better running solid lifter 350 LT1 then this one, the sound coming from the side pipes is awesome. This is one gorgeous car and you will get stopped everywhere with it. It doesn't only look fast but it is fast! It is truly a joy to drive. When I bought the car 3yrs ago it had sat for many years and I was told the miles were original. But vehicles are not meant to be parked in a garage heated or otherwise and rubber seals etc. break down. The first thing I had to do to make the car safe was completely go through the braking system and redo everything. From there I went to modernizing the mechanical, redoing the paint (original) and then the interior. For those of you with trades the only reason for me even to look at selling this car is cause I want to move into a Pantera. So unless you have one of those cars I don't think I would be interested in trading for anything. July 13, 2010.
1) This was bought in 2002 from its 3rd owner and had 18,200 miles. Now it has a little over 19,000 miles. THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL ENGINE. The car has been in storage except for a couple of sunny days a year. The previous owner told me the history of the car. The 1st owner bought the car to race it. He changed the original motor, and installed a 1970 LT1 350, he also removed the air-conditioning pump. I do have the original air-conditioning pump. He flipped the car in the race, and sold it to the 2nd owner. He put a new 1969 body on the car. I'm not sure how long he owned the car before he sold it to the 3rd owner. The 3rd owner had it professionally painted, and he had a new convertible top installed. Has a convertible top. Black leather seats. 4-speed transmission. New clutch. Telescope and tilt stirring. Head-lights. Windshield wipers. It has the original radio which does not work. The interior is in average condition. It has a very nice paint job in Nassau Blue. It has a dent in the front bumper. The car is fast and fun to drive. Great for an afternoon drive. A lot of heads are turned! Colors from the owner. Built date is L07. February 14, 2009.
