Car history:
3) 1969 Chevrolet Corvette 2 Top Convertible, Fathom Green, High optioned, Factory A/C, PS, PB, Auto Trans, AM/FM, very original driver Vette. Not a show car but nice!
Body and Paint: All original panels with one repaint approx 15 yrs ago. Nice and tight fit. Original paint in Jambs. Rust free western car. Has a few, typical spot, tiny stress cracks and the front valance mount bumps are showing but really nice condition! Paint is older but has a nice shine and is presentable driver quality.
Chassis, Suspension and Brakes: Solid frame only showing some surface rust. Suspension is tight and handles nice, Nice tires and rallys. Power steering and Power brakes work very well. New bushings in front. Nice.
Powertrain: Original VIN stamped 350/300hp underhood, rebuilt stock at approx 80k miles, has 108k now. Starts and runs excellent. No smoke, leaks etc. Original 400 trans in place. Not sure on gear ratio, but original and not high reving. Very original, factory exhaust manifolds, orig carb, distributor/cover, etc. Factory A/C that blows cold.
Interior and Misc: Original Green interior in very nice condition. Few tiny cracks in door panels. Seats are nice. Dash and console real nice. Factory AM/FM still in dash. All glass is excellent and windows go up and down nicely. No electrical issues , all lights and equipment works as should, including headlamps and wipers. All gauges work with exception of the clock.
Factory hard and soft top. Hard top is really nice with excellent headliner. Softtop is older and shows a little wear. Goes up and down easy.
All in all, a nice turn key driver Vette that is very original. Thumbs up everywhere and very fun.
Solid unrestored/rebuilt chrome bumper Vettes are getting hard to find.
This is an all numbers matching car. Enjoy as-is or restore it and go for the Bloomington Gold. $18,100 (RnM) on September 11, 2017.
2) Super nice car. All gauges and lights work as they should even the clock works, a/c works great. All new bushings front and rear, tie rods, ball joints, power steering all rebuilt, new rear spring, new shocks, new gas tank, all fiber optics in console work as they should. good tires, original numbers matching motor and transmission. Super nice driver. Car was repainted in the early 90's (original color) they left the door jams original. Top is in great shape (white) also original hard top. Car looks great a few stone chips and a little paint checking but wow she still stands tall. I get thumbs up and yells everytime I drive it. this car is tight without all the typical rattle's indicative of the c 3 no rust issues bird cage is rust free, floor pans are pefect always a Texas car too manyc ars not enough garage space wife not happy her new car is sitting outside of the 4 car garage and she is right, I don't need 3 corvettes. 1) I have a nice 1969 Corvette Numbers Matching convertible that is 98 per cent original. It does not have the factory rims and has had bushings and suspension work done to keep it a very nice driving car. The car has been in my family for many years as it was my fathers car. Other than the items I listed to my knowledge everything else is all original. Everything still works as new, from the key buzzer to the fiber optic lights by the shifter and even to clock still works. It is a factory A/C car with power steering and power brakes. Please understang this car was kept original so it is not a restored car. the paint is still nice but does have rock chips here and there as you would expect on a 47 year old car. Interior is very clean with minor crack about a inch on each door panel. under hood is all stock down to the factory valve covers to air cleaner and original carburetor. I also have the original hardtop to go with the car as well. $20,350 (RnM) on September 16, 2016.
