Including engine casting part number 397010, casting date is H19 9. Engine stamping is VU822HW. Transmission date code is P9K03. Gear code A. Rear code is 291569W = 3.55:1. Many other parts are also correct originals. Information is available unpon request. This car has NCRS or Bloominton potential. The exterior appearance of this car is stunning. Having a show quality paint, chrome and a new white soft top. All glass is original and very nice. The rare and desirable color combo of LaMans blue and Bright blue match the original trim tag codes. The interior has been completely restored. Including seats, door panels, carpet and center console. The engine compartment has been detailed and has many new parts. Mechanically all systems work as they should. Includes a complete redo of the vacuum system, gauges and the radio works great. The car runs absolutely beautifully and is a pleasure to drive. I have taken it on long trips and it is very reliable. I spent more than 8 months searching for the right '69 Corvette and I bought this one on 10/24/07 after selling my '69 Chevelle at the 2007 Hershey Fall Meet. The former owner of this car was in his mid-seventies and had been collecting Corvettes for decades. When I went to see this car he showed me a photo album of cars he had owned over the years many of which received Top Flite status. He and his wife were moving into a 55 and older development and this car and 3 others had to go because there was no room for them at his new residence. The cars that I've owned over the years have been of the highest quality because I am extremely particular. This car is no exception. It is numbers matching and is stunning. When I bought this car the odometer read 78,627. It now reads 78,794. I've only driven this car about 6 times since I purchased it although I did parade it down the Ocean City, New Jersey Boardwalk on 6/27/09 as part of a local car show. It is not concourse but is much more than a "10 footer". Myself and the prior owner have always kept the car in a climate controlled garage.
