| 2) NUMBERS MATCHING. AC HAS NEW LINES, EVAPORATOR CORE, POA VALVE, AND TXV, AND IS CONVERTED TO 134A. NEW EXHAUST, NEW BELTS, NEW HOSES ALSO. THE INTERIOR WAS REPLACED RECENTLY, SHOWS EXCELLENT. RUST FREE FRAME AND BIRDCAGE, VERY SOLID AND CLEAN. THE PAINT IS A CAN-AM WHITE THAT PERFECTLY COMPLIMENTS THE RED LEATHER INTERIOR. THE PAINT JOB IS SEVERAL YEARS OLD BUT HAS BEEN KEPT VERY WELL. THERE ARE A COUPLE SMALL NICKS AND SCRATCHES, BUT THE CAR LOOKS VERY PRESENTABLE. RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT, VACUUM WORKS PROPERLY, HEADLIGHTS AND WIPERS WORK PROPERLY, ALL LIGHTS AND GAUGES FUNCTION PROPERLY. 121,000 miles. September 4, 2009. 1) This car has the original 300hp 350c.i. engine with a fresh rebuild on the bottom end that includes new pistons and rings, new bearings, new cam and lifters, and new timing chain. The cylinders were bored .30 over. While the engine was apart the heads were evaluated and it was determined that they had been recently rebuilt. The stock Quadrajet carburetor was also professionally rebuilt at the time the engine was done. I have driven the car over 1,500 miles since the rebuild and it runs excellent. The radiator is new, callipers and brakes are new, and it has new belts and hoses. This Corvette has factory air conditioning that has many new components and has been converted to 134A, it blows cold air. This car has the original 4 speed transmission with the original shifter. The frame is in good condition with no signs of rotting. The bumpers on this car are fair but could use rechromed. The paint is fair but has some nicks, scratches, a little orange peel, and a couple of inconspicuous runs. The headlight covers have small bends in the corners that can be seen in the photos. It looks good from 10 feet away. The interior has been redone and looks very nice. This Corvette was optioned with power windows, power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, and a speed warning indicator. It runs and drives well and would make an excellent everyday driver. Unfortunately, the tach does not work because the tach drive distributor is missing, the clock does not work, and the radio works ocasionally. Colors from the owner. 120,602 miles.
