For Sale: 1979 Chevrolet Corvette. I bought this car in NC in 2007 and have done just about everything to it. I painted this car in 2008 Fire Pearl Red with 4 coats of clear coat. The front end has been gone through and replaced all supports, rod ends, bushings and brakes in 2008. The rear end was overhauled in 2008 when I replaced the transmission and engine with Pheonix Crate motor GM 350 with 355HP and I put a 4 Speed transmission in it. The rear legs were removed and were rebuilt in 2007. The interior, seats and carpet were replaced in 2008 and I installed Aircraft grade silencing and heat shields in it. All new 2nd Generation seals were installed on all windows, T-Tops and doors, electric windows and locks actuators have been replaced and all work great. The Air Conditioning has been upgraded with R134 and all components are new and in working order and blows Cold. I have an extra set of t-tops that will come with this but they need work. Also have the suitcase that will protect the t-tops when removed. I have over $25,000.00 invested in this car. The original Engine and transmission will be included in this sale. They are both in working order. The New motor and transmission have 12,000 miles on them since installed in this car. This Car looks and runs great. Their is no warranty or implied warranty on this car.
