HE=327 cid 300 - hp V-8 with 10.01 compression ratio, 4 speed muncie manual transmission, and four-barrel rochester Q-jet carburetor. Exterior paint code 988 Cordovan Maroon. Code RPO C07 Auxiliary hardtop for convertible. Code RPO C08 Padded vinyl cover for auxiliary hardtop. Code RPO M20 Four-speed manual transmission. Code RPO U79 Stereo radio. Block Casting Number 3914678. Block Serial Number 18S408988. just out of storage here is a stock 1968 corvette convertible 327 / 4 -speed car. its very original and correct, the only item missing is the steering center cap. This car has all the right stuff for a frame off restoration. overall this car is complete / original, and will need to be totally restored. the frame and exhaust have rust through areas. this car will need a complete rolling chassis. The body has some cracks, a piece of fiberglass is cracked off near the rear license plate but the piece is included and can easily be fiberglassed back on. right now it is sitting on a support skid, it will not roll.
