Candy Apple Red 70's Vintage Nostalgia Corvette Stingray Roadster! I was in high school in the late 70's and this was how we made a Corvette COOL !! Your friends will definately here you coming when you lay the hammer down on this beast! If you like your hotrods quiet and mellow then this Vette is not for you! I was asked to sell this BEAUTY by a really good customer of ours who I have known for a long time. He just doesn't have much spare time anymore and the car sits in his garage most of the time. I can't imagine finding another 1973 Corvette Roadster that has been babied like this one! I took this car out to check it out and take the pictures for this auction and I was very impressed how this car handles and how smooth and POWERFULL it is! You talk about a KICK to drive, UNBELIEVABLE! The 350 CID V8 motor (3970010 casting number) is very responsive and powerful and sounds incredible (LOUD!) with the custom headers and dual sidepipes. The 4-speed manual transmission functions like new as it was just rebuilt. When you drive this car people stop, stare and point. Believe me if you like attention then this is the car for you! When you take this car to the car shows people flock to it. WOW, the last year for the steel rear bumpers, what a look! You can have your own Corvette Summer in this car! This car was signed twice by "Mr. Corvette," Dick Guldstrand and has won numerous awards at various car shows. This car is nicely equipped with power steering, tilt steering wheel, four wheel disc brakes, Carbon fiber rear mono leaf spring, Heavy duty Anti-sway bars in front and rear, Poly bushings. The black convertible top is in GREAT shape. It has an Alpine AM/FM cassette stereo with 16 disc CD changer that sounds INCREDIABLE. The overall cosmetic impression of this car is fantastic! The exterior Candy Apple Red paint is VERY NICE with only a few imperfections but is still bright and shiny as you can see in the pictures and is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL. The black leather upholstery is also VERY NICE and is still very soft and supple. The 15" White letter performance radial tires and Corvette nostalgic era wheels are the finishing touch to this customized flared fendered beast. This car was done with quality heavy fiberglass flares and it was a Quality job done a number of years ago and still looks great. I don't think the pictures show the kind of AWESOME condition this car is in. This is the perfect cure for your mid-life crisis for sure! If you have been looking but can't find a Corvette Stingray Roadster worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one !
