1971 454 auto p/s, a/c. p/b tilt steering numbers matching project car. Here is a decription of the car. It has had a body off total frame restoration 3 years ago. New U joints. Matching Numbers 454 BB. with Auto Tranny Matching. Has an aluminum intake. All new bushings. New tie rods. New shocks. New ball joints. Frame sand blasted and painted. New SS brakes. New A/C Evaporator installed in ca. New Re Chromed Bumpers Not installed in box. New leather seats Not installed in box. New Deluxe Door Panels in box. New Tail light lens in box. New Black carpet (in box). New side amber lights (side) in box. Has a hard top Jack and lug wrench. Tilt steering. Side Pipes. Rally wheels. The body is very good, (needs paint), but the interior is gone. Nothing in the car. However I have the seats (500.00), new leather seat covers (500.00 still in the box), New deluxe door panels (800.00)still in box. New re chromed bumpers (500.00) sill in the box, 4 new tail light lens, still in box (100.00) still in box and new side amber lens (50.00) still in box. New evaporator for A/C (200.00) installed in car. Hard top (400.00) used. Here is 2000.00 worth of parts and the frame has all new or rebuilt parts (pricless) 3000.00. The frame was sand blasted, painted and converted into a convertible 3 years ago. It needs a little cleaning but no rust on the frame. Here is 5000.00 worth of new parts and labor. I have about 95% of the items needed to be restored. Forgot to add I have aI have a set of new carpet also (still in the box) another 250.00 savings. Stuff that needs to be bought: Gas Tank, Radiator (got the orginal one, new is better, Starter, Soft top frame and cloth all latches Complete dash (I have the gauges and the cluster), Tires, A/C compressor, Misc items (Paint, windshield, wipers, air cleaner, ect.), I think if someone does the work themselves and buys all NEW parts it would cost him/her around 6-7,000 to restore.
