| This auction is for a rare 1970 Corvette Coupe. This beautiful car is one of only 17,316 Corvettes produced in 1970, of which only 6.9% were Cortez Silver, and fewer still with the saddle custom interior, which was a $158 option. The car is very original, and is a number matching car. It has the 350hp Turbo Fire 350 engine, and runs great. It has headers on it for a great sound, the original manifold is in the trunk. The exhaust is a nice Flowmaster. The body appears to have never been hit or had any repairs, and seems to have all original bonding strips intact. It has been repainted at one point, the paint is excellent with great shine and a nice finish. This car is gorgeous from all angles and really catches the eye with a style that just isn't found in newer models. Everything in the car works, including all fiber optics, the only thing that doesn't work is the clock. Tires are in excellent shape, and the car runs and drives great. Going over it, very few flaws can be found. On the interior, there are 2 cracks on the speaker grills on the dash, other than that the interior looks clean and in excellent shape including the nice soft saddle custom interior. Outside of the car, it is extremely clean, including the undercarriage. There are a few paint chips and tiny scratches. 1 paint chip is located on the front driver's side fender, and the other is on the rear passenger side quarter panel just behind the wheel. Other than that there are marks from a key ring near the lock on the driver's door, and some small scratches on the passenger's side quarter panel. This is a gorgeous vehicle that is hard to come by, and they are only getting more rare every day. Very few are in the kind of original condition this one is in. 115,248 from the odometer.
