| 2) 1968 Corvette 427 ~ Professionally restored with a 402 Big Block engine, Holley carb, Mallory ignition, Hooker headers and pipes. New Aluminum radiator with electric fan. Factory air and power steering. 4 speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. Pioneer AM/FM/CD with Sony Xplode 800w sound system. Saddle interior and new saddle convertible top. Paint color is orange with white Baldwin Motion scheme, Mag wheels. $18,102 (RnM) on August 5, 2017. Sold for $22,600 on August 12, 2017. 1) 1968 Corvette convertible with a 396 big block, 4 speed aluminum transmission and air conditioning. This car was redone about 5 years ago, it has a complete new front clip, both door skins have been replaced, a new hood was installed and a new roof also. Every suspension part, front and rear, has been replaced. Rear suspension has a fiberglass mono leaf and adjustable arms for camber adjustment. This car rides better than any corvette out there. All 4 brake calipers and master cyl. have been replaced. New fuel tank. New complete wiring harness. All vacuum actuators and solenoids have been replaced along with all vacuum lines and override switches. Wiper door and headlights work flawlessly. Radiator is new. All interior is new including console, seat belts, seats, dash pad, carpet and rear compartments, all the chrome is nice. Exhaust is Hooker Headers into 4 inch side pipes. Car is not terribly loud as there are glass pack style baffles inside. Wheels are American Racing chrome plated over aluminum with 3 bar knock offs. Color is Hugger orange with white stripes reminiscent of a Baldwin-Motion car. Engine is a 396 with a 390 horse 427 cam, Holley 750 double pump carb, Mallory Unilite ignition. Other than that it is mostly stock. The air conditioning does not work due to a fitting I haven't yet located. The emergency brake cables need replaced.
