| 1969 ORIGINAL L89 427 CI 435 HP Aluminum Heads with Tri-Power. Documented With Factory Build Sheet. Factory Riverside Gold with Both Tops. While looking at the pictures pay close attention to the fit and finish of this L89. ALL of the gaps around the hood, headlights and doors are very equal and flush to the body. They ALL shut and latch with ease. It took many hours of my time to make the fit and finish better then a new Corvette! In ADDITION, I have my original Bill of Sale from 1976 and the 2nd owner's Bill of Sale from 1971. Less Then 3,000 Miles Since Frame-Off Restoration. I have owned this L89 Corvette since 1976, and had no plans of ever selling it. Unfortunately, at this time I have made the decision to finally part with it....for the right price! When I restored it, I did everything to perfection! My brother and I have restored many award winning muscle cars from the 60's & 70's. The frame-off restoration on this Corvette took approximately 1700 hours. It has taken first place in the 68 - 82 Corvette Class in every show (17) I have entered it in. It also has taken Best Corvette for ALL years twice. This L89 is equipped with the following options: 427CI, 435HP Aluminum Head Tri-Power, 4 Speed Close Ratio Transmission, 4:11 Rear Positraction Rear End, Factory Side Pipes, Factory Side Louvers, Factory Alarm System, AM/FM Radio. NO Power Brakes or Steering, nothing but speed related options. The Restoration Included: Body and Frame were separated and completely restored, ALL Mechanical parts were completely rebuilt or restored, Removal of old paint down to the bare virgin fiberglass and fiberglass was resurfaced, Original Riverside Gold metallic paint was applied and wet sanded between coats, Door Panels and dash are original and perfect. ALL Engine Casting Numbers are CORRECT for this L89 I have the convertible top and frame but it is not in the car, the top will need a new cover. ORIGINAL FACTORY BUILD SHEET PROVES THE ORIGINALITY OF THIS L89. 92,448 miles from the odometer. August 24, 2009. |
