| This is a late model 1969 Corvette that is numbers matching, all original, and only 58,000 fully documented miles. Car is the original Daytona yellow with black interior. The 350ci engine is the 350 horsepower L-46 with the original Rochester Quadra-jet carburator. Engine and carburator were rebuilt in 1992 with 42,000 miles because the car sat for 10 years as the original owner had an untimely demise, when his private plane crashed in 1982. Also added were new brakes, new vacuum canisters and hoses for the headlights and the wipers. This car has factory air conditioning, M-21 close ratio 4 speed with a 3.70 rear end. It is also equiped with ps,pb, am/fm radio, factory tinted windows, body side louvers, and lastly a dealer installed luggage rack. I have had the car about 2 years and bought it from a grand old lady that was the 2nd owner in Denver, CO and she purchased in 1992 after Corvette City rebuilt the car after sitting for so long. I have since had the clock rebuilt, added a whole new clutch assembly, bell housing, steering gear box, outside and inside mirrors and a MSD electronic ignition system and I also have the original. New tires were added when I bought the car so they have about 3,000 on them. The paint being original has some chips and cracks because it is 40 years old, the rear bumper has some small nicks and the tinted windows have some light scratches. The interior is in very good shape and the engine compartment is clean enough to eat off of. Everything on this car works, yes the clock even works and all fiber optics. The original radio works but is a little weak. The air conditiong works strong and has the newer version freon and has been completely rebuilt with new condenser, compressor, orifices, belts and hoses. All work I have had done to the car was done by Bromleys Corvette, in Chandler AZ. He does a great job and works only on Corvettes and knows them inside and out. As I have stated this a true survivor car and I have done my best to keep it that way. I have all documentation from the first oil change in 1970 to the last thing done in 2007. It also has the original protecto-plate and manual. January 3, 2008. |
