| Car history: |
| You are looking at a beautiful 1969 Corvette L68 427/400hp 4 speed M21. Tri-power 3 2bbl carbs. The car is both a fantastic driver and showcar. The car has many options as it comes with the buildsheet as well as the original window sticker. Very rare to find one with this type of documentation as the car is an incredible investment as this price level. The options are the following: Soft Ray tinted glass, Power Windows, Head restraints, Rear Window Defroster, Special Purpose Suspension, Positraction Rear, Full tansister Ignition System , 390-HP To 400-HP Equipment, 4 -Spd Close Ratio Transmission, Side Mounted Exhaust System, Power Steering, Front Fender Louver Trim, Speed Warning Indicator, as well as an AM/FM Pushbutton Radio which has been replaced with a more modern unit. I have both T top covers, new battery, as well as the owners manual. New carpet. Seats, all the rest is original and near perfect. New exhaust. Frame is solid and rust free, always garaged, rarely driven. This truly looks like a museum piece inside, it's a sight to be seen. Chrome trim and bumpers are near perfect, extremely impressive originals. This car is incredibly nice. Not a trailor queen but an incredible nice driver/show quality car. I am not sure if this is the original engine, I have had it looked at by my mechanic but he cant tell, he thinks that the numbers have been painted over during the rebuild but I am selling it to be NOM just to be safe. This car is in high demand and will not last long. I personally have experienced the performance and comfort of this vehicle first hand and it drives incredible. The engine is smooth and quiet. Steering is tight and responsive and the suspension handles very well. My goal is to provide my customers with a top notch automobile at a fair price. Granted this automobile is in great shape it is a used car and it does have some minor wear and tear as you must remember the car is 46 years old. One item worth mentioning is that the odometer stopped working on me about 100 miles ago. The car being almost 50 years old it is sold with exempt miles in any case. 86,892 miles from the odometer. Color codes from the trim plate. Assembly date is C11 (something bogus in there!! Trim plate bogus because NCRS report says assembly date is november 15, 1968, like black book). BIN $36,000. December 15, 2014. |
