Here is a beautiful, 1982 Corvette Collectors Edition turnkey NHRA certified bracket racer in excellent condition inside and out. This was a one owner car that the original owner drove for several years and in the late 90's decided to turn it into a drag car. It is fully NHRA certified and a proven winner with multiple track championships. It was meticulously built and maintained by top mechanics in the Denver area with no detail overlooked. This car can easily be put back to street legal with very few modifications. It was really not cut up at all during the build as it still retains most of it's original paint and all original interior. It recently ran an 11.41 et at 123 mph and is a very fun toy to have. This is truly one awesome '82 Corvette that is a blast to drive and has looks that just don't quit! This is not a "bottle baby", and has no electronics, it's only you, your feet and a quick reaction time. It has raw drag racing power!!!!! It's recent competition history is a multiple division 5 qualifier and race of champions winner in 2001 at Topeka, KS. The interior is all original and looks amazing. It is all stock inside except for the roll cage, shifter, three custom gauges and the hidden switches in the ashtray. Everything works perfectly in the car including the gauges and lights. For drivers comfort the power seat, power windows and power locks all still function. The headlight assemblies were removed for weight but can easy be replaced if you wanted to make the car street legal again! Mechanically, this Corvette is in perfect condition. It has a fully built 355ci roller motor pushing 500hp and was professionally built.This baby really gets up and goes and sounds awesome. It really shakes the ground. Under the hood is all detailed and looks awesome. It runs on 110 octane which the 13.5:1 compression small black thrives on. It has very aggressive sounding exhaust system that totally fits the car.
