This remarkable Corvette came out of a Chevrolet dealer’s personal collection. The miles showing are believed to be correct as the collector has owned this car for many years. The overall look of this Corvette is outstanding however the paint finish is showing many tiny blisters. I have consulted several Corvette specialists and they tell me this is typical of a Saint Louis built car and that probably much of the paint is original. With that said I can tell you that this is an accident free Corvette and it does not have all the stress cracks and spider webbing normally associated with these cars. By the way the bumper covers are excellent which tells me that they have been refinished. The leather interior is beautiful with hardly any wear showing. The carpet is nice. The dash is excellent and there is only the slight wear and fade on things like windshield posts and other highly visible areas. The majority if not all could be reconciled with some SEM dye. The wheels are excellent as are the original trim rings. The engine bay is clean and there are no mechanical issues. The A/C has been serviced and is ice cold as well as an oil change and minor tuneup. By the way, the headlights work great, the radio plays and even the gauges light up. The power windows are excellent so there will hardly be any mechanical fussing around. This is a great opportunity to get a very nice low mileage original Corvette at a steal.
