| 1) This 69 Corvette is a true survivor. It was purchased new by the original owner while attending the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. It was a one owner car until 2017. It retains its original 427/435hp engine, original M21 4-Speed transmission and 3.70 Posi rear. Headers and side pipes were added, but original exhaust manifolds and pipes are included. Options include head restraints, Tinted Glass, F41 special purpose suspension, transistor ignition, close ratio transmission, AM/FM stereo. The car has extensive documentation including Protecto Plate, Original Dealer Invoice, Corvette Owner's Card, cancelled original purchasing check, Owners Manual. The mileage, which is believed to be actual, is 52,983. The paint is all original with the exception of a small repair on the right quarter panel that the original owner says was done when he hit a sign post exiting the freeway. The paint looks good from 10' away, but on close inspection there are imperfections and lacquer checking due to age. Interior is in nice condition and is also original. The car has new correct whitewall tires. It runs and drives very well. All gauges and lights work with the exception of the clock. 52,987 miles from the odometer. No bid at starting $79,000 on February 18, 2018. |
