12/08/2013 Miles: 20,847 miles Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present another one of our beautiful Corvettes. This fine example is a 1981 with glass T-Tops and only sports a true 20,847 Miles. We have personally driven this car and can tell you first hand that she drives just like a brand new vette of the era should. No leaks, squeaks or rattles in this baby. This would have been one of the last few 1981 Chevrolet Corvette's that was produced in the St. Louis plant before going full time in the now Bowling Green, KY plant. Now, let's get into all of the finer details of this beautiful 1981 Chevrolet Corvette. Exterior: The paint code on this beauty is 59 which was beige and she glimmers and shines like she is brand new. The exterior of this car has been miraculously maintained and garage kept, so she still shows like a new car and it is the original paint. As you will see in the pics, all of the lights work as they should. No assisting the headlight buckets up on this car. The wheels are original and in great shape as well. The glass T-Tops were great on this car and these are tinted to assist with the heat coming in on you. This car also has the T-Top racks that screw into the back of the car as you will see in the pics if you wanted to strap the tops on the outside so as to not take up your cargo space. Interior: What else can we say about this interior but WOW!!!!!! This is what you would expect a 20k mile vette to look like on this inside. Everything works on this car but the oil pressure guage, but hey, it's a 32 year old car. Everything else in the car works including the radio, the A/C blows ice cold, the cruise control works as well. The rear window cover slides in and out as it should with no stains rips or tears and the t-top bags are also in there with a full car cover. Drive Train: This car came with the stock 190 HP 350 and is matted to a turbo 350 automatic. Everything runs awesome, doesn't smoke at all and shifts just like a brand new car should.
