| 1972 Corvette Convertible, Numbers Matching 454ci, 4 speed car, with factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt/telescopic steering column. The car is in need of a total restoration, but is loaded with valuable options, (Numbers matching big block 4speed convertible with AC). Trim Tag Info: B27-built September, 27 1971; 972-Classic White Exterior; 407-Red Vinyl Interior. Engine Casting Number: 3999289; Casting Date: 8-71. Engine Stamping Information: T0917 CSR 12S503446. This is a total restoration project. The front clip is missing as well as the hood, wiper door assembly, 4 speed transmission, shifter assembly, exhaust system, and ac compressor. I am sure there are more missing parts than what I have listed, so if you do not see a part in the pictures it is probably missing. There are four rally wheels included in the auction but I did not get them pictured in the listing. The interior is mostly complete and in pretty good condition. The frame looks to be in good condition, free from rust, however I have no way to accurately measure the frame. The engine is complete and does turn over by hand. The rear body appears to be in good condition but does have rear finder flares. The stainless steel trim is nice and the glass is good with the exception of the windshield. The car has a clear Indiana title but did have a rebuilt Illinois title in 1993. The car is located in Terre Haute, Indiana. I prefer local pickup, especially since this car is in so many pieces. The trailer is not included in the auction, but could be purchased separately outside of the auction. I welcome personal inspections and would recommend it for this car!
