| Car history: |
Pictures and words cannot describe how truely beautiful this car is. The body is perfect. There are no chips, dings, dents or scratches anywhere on the body. The body is straight, finished in the correct code paint color. All body panels fit and open and close with ease. The frame is solid, with no damage or rust repairs, and is painted black as per factory spec. Paint and inspection marks have been put back to the correct locations.
The convertible top has been replaced with the correct dated material and shows no sign of wear. All major components of the black leather interior have been replaced or restored to the original condition (i.e. seat covers, seat cushions, door panels, carpet and gauges). The clock even works.
The original engine has been rebuilt with a little more horsepower than stock specs. All components on the engine and the entire car are correct part numbers and date codes. The original transmission has been rebuilt, shifts firm and on time with no leaks. The original 3.36 positraction differential has also been rebuilt, with no noise from the gears or any leaks.
All suspension and undercarriage components have been replaced, with attention paid to factory correctness (i.e. ball joints are riveted in and correct shocks installed). All brake and fuel lines have been replaced with correct replacements.
The car has been totally restored and judged. It has received the Bloomington Gold Certification and the N.C.R.S. Top Flight Award.
Paint Code: 976 Mille Miglia Red Interior Code: 404 Black Leather Engine: L48 (190 hp stock) Transmission: M40 Turbo 400
Bloomington Gold: Lost a total of 200 points (Gold scores are judged to be 95-100% correct based on "Typical Factory Production")
N.C.R.S.: 96.7
No expense has been spared on the restoration of this car. The car runs perfect and drives excellent. No shakes, shimmies, creaking or other strange sounds. The car probably drives better that it did in 1973 when new.
Extensive paperwork backing the history of the car is included in the sale. Paperwork includes, but is not limited to: window sticker, build sheet, dealer invoice, vehicle registrations, insurance papers and repair work orders.
A complete list of parts with the relative part numbers and date codes (if dated), right down to the door mirrors and carpet is available upon request. Additional pictures are also available upon request. It would be impossible to include all the information in this listing.
