| 1968 corvette convertible I came across a few days ago.This car has an excellent body and frame rails. It does not have a motor or transmission. It does have all interior minus the radio. It does have rear end and drive shaft. The previous owner stated the car has not seen rain in 16 years which is probally the reason the car looks so good underneath. The gas tank could be original and there may be a build sheet on top of tank but I do not know. The convertible top is in good shape. No cracks in the dash pad. Seats are in great shape with no rips. Door panels are also in good shape. This car was built in late October of 1967 it was the 3381 car out of 18630 for production year of 1968. I do have some numbers off the door plate and rear end and they are---paint 976----trim 414---rear end OHO 23-W9E1. I was told the rear end is a big block but I do not know? I do have a big block radiator that came with the car. This was a factory 4 speed and factory side pipe car. 74,000 miles. May 24, 2008. |
