Car history:
Purchased this Corvette back in 1984 as a project car. It has been stored inside since-presently in my barn mostly covered up. I replaced the brakes and painted the frame back in the late 80’s. Most all the parts are included with the exception of the passenger side door window and some small trim pieces. Interior was all taken out when I got the car and some of the interior trim may not be usable. Had the 327 v-8 running in the 90’s with a new induction system (Edelbrock manifold and Holley carb) and new headers- but still have the old parts. Has automatic transmission. The top is in good shape-not yellowed-no cracks but the fabric edging(?) is starting to break down. The information I was told when I got the car was that the front clip and engine had caught fire and the whole front half of the fiberglass body was from a different car. One can see the dividing line in the middle of the car- if not pointed out- one may not notice unless looked at very closely. I have not stripped to the frame or attempted to do any kind of professional restoration job. Have not done much of anything to the car in the last ten years. This vette comes with a regular title (not salvage). I now have three small kids and this project is down on the priority list. 114,621 miles. August 20, 2008.
