| This is one of the nicest numbers matching corvettes out there today. The whole car was redone about 2 years ago everything works and most of the interior is new, the fiber optics our and also work. It has new carpet and the seats have been recovered, the door covers look to be new and dash pad. I am pretty sure that it has the original consol with power windows and gauges. When I got the car it came with a lot of receipts showing what all was do to the car which will go with car. The car was originally a red car but it is has the numbers matching motor with era correct 427 435hp tri-power intake, carburetors, heads, manifolds, rear end, and alternator. The motor runs very strong and starts easy which was hard for the tri-power cars to do back in the day. The body of the car is in good shape it has had some body work done but what corvette that is re-done hasn’t. The wheel are torque thrust 2 chrome 17x8 all the around and the tires are p235/50/r17 eagle rs-a they were 2,050.83 is what the receipt shows for the cost. The top is also new in the car but not power the glass looks to be original. The exhaust is new but stock looking the car sounds good I also have the wood grain steering wheel to go with the car. The windshield wipers work with a little help on the start this big block cars just don’t create enough vacuum but once up get them going they finish on there own. This vehicle has been pampered and saved from any door dings or scratches. The transmission on this vehicle has been well maintained and shifts gears flawlessly. The engine has checked out okay. All of the electrical and optional equipment on this vehicle work like new. This vehicle is perfectly sound, no known defects. This vehicle has been detailed and garaged to keep it looking factory new. This is a clean vehicle with a beautiful interior. Paint from the owner. Motor suffix code is IR. September 23, 2008. |
