| This is a 1969 corvette convertible project. Original Big Block car, has the 6500 redline for 427-435 HP or L-88s, it is missing its engine and transmission. It has the large 15/16 front sway bar and also has the 9/16 rear swaybar. The rear end has the big block heavy duty side yolks with retaining caps and not straps. This has a very nice solid frame with no rot or repairs or damage that I could see and it has been partialy restored. Prior owner stripped and painted the frame, all new parts on the front end, bushings, balljoints, tierods and wheel bearings, rear end parts have not been rebuilt yet. The front of the car has been replaced at some point with factory GM original press molded panels, one panel still has the GM tag on it, has the original big block hood in good shape, both doors are in excellent shape other then small damage at mirror mounting, rear deck and drivers side rear quarter are in good shape, right rear quarter and rear tail light panel I would replace. The trim tag is missing but I believe the original colors are blue-blue. The tires and wheels on the car do not go with the car. I do have a set of ralleys that will go with it that I got when I purchased this car, no centers or trim rings. Excellent windshield frame and birdcage with no rot. Looking more closely and from under the car both rear quarters have been repaired or modified at some point and should both be replaced. 48,640 miles from the odometer. February 19, 2009. |
