| This is a 1968 matching number 427-435hp Corvette Convertible with 44,704 original miles. I have owned this car since 1970 and I am the third owner. It is LeMans Blue with Medium blue leather seats and the original white top. It has the original Corvette logo floor mats and jack and tools.The rear axel is a 370 posi. I have the owners manual and the protecto plate. Over the years I have made a few changes to the car and I have kept almost all of the original parts that will go with the car. The engine had a complete blueprint rebuild in 1984 and I only put 4000mi on it since. I currently have a Edelbrock TM2R manifold on it with a 780 Holly vacum secondary carb. The Dist. is a Accel duel point. The cam is a Crane 326 Fireball. I have changed the transmission to a Super T10 4 speed with a Hurst shifter and a Lakewood bellhousing. The rear spring is a composit Monospring. The hood is a L88 hood. The brakes are stainless steel with synthetic fluid. I have replaced the rear wheel bearings and the emergency brake. The exhaust are chromed Custom Headers and sidepipes. I have many spare parts and almost all of the original parts that go with the car. I have the original tri-power setup with like new air cleaner. I have the original M22 4 speed transmission, bellhousing, shifter, distributor, exhaust headers, tail pipes, mufflers, rear spring chrome exhaust tips, tail light lenses and the spare tire and carrier. The interior is in good shape for being original except for the worn drivers seat. The paint is not perfect but it is in good shape for a 40 year old car. 44,704 miles. September 17, 2008. |
