| 2) Colors from the trim plate. Built date is L14. 30,263 miles from the odometer. February 5, 2010. 1) Brilliant Blue Stingray Roadster which is a rare find with less than 30,000 original miles, numbers matching and a clear Tennessee title. The owner extensively restored the car 6 years ago and it was repainted and interior was redone. He passed suddenly and the car, having recently being taken out of storage and tuned up, is being sold by his widow. The car runs and drives like a true sports (muscle) car and has a white convertible top and lift-off hard top. It has a 350ci engine with 200 hp, automatic transmission, air conditioning, posi rear-end. This is a great looking and driving '72 convertible that needs very little to be a show-winning car. Paint is overall very good. There are minor parking lot dings on the passenger door. No other obvious blemishes were found in the paint. The convertible top is newly recovered with no discoloration in the rear window and no tear or rip are present at this time. Weather stripping appears older and is a little dry-rotted in some places, although it is intact and should function well. Exterior door handles appear to be original and are near perfect. A set of Appliance mag-wheels in very good condition with center caps are mounted to good tires, which look to be almost brand new. It has a code correct Blue vinyl interior, and the seat covers look great with no tear or splitting. The driver's door panel is in average original condition; passenger side is good to very good. Center console is in good condition with no crack or other major issue. Dash pad looks great with no crack or warping. Gauges are in overall good shape, although the tachometer does not work, the proper distributor is in place, probably a loose cable. Additionally, the clock and AM/FM radio do not seem to be working at this time. The steering wheel is also in good shape with no crack or significant wear. Correct style loop carpet is present, and shows well with minor fading or wear areas. Correct GM seatbelts are also currently installed. The original engine could use a paint job on the valve covers and intake, the water pump is new and a correct style Quadrajet carburetor is in place but the correct ignition shielding is not present. The key buzzer and door ajar light are functional. Factory options on this car include power steering, air conditioning, and power brakes. Overall this car is clean, solid, rust-free. 29,900 miles.
