| Car history: |
1975 Corvette convertible, white with a black interior, removable hard top, loaded and with only 51,500 original miles. The car is pretty much all there (smog pump too). It looks like the original spare has never touched the ground. But please note that this is still a restoration project. I purchased this car 5 to 6 years ago on Long Island N.Y. The guy I purchased it from said he bought it out of an estate where the car sat for a long time before it became available. He said the car needed a new frame, brakes, carburetor work and bumper covers. The "Buy it now" is for the the car only at $5800 (no parts). I want $7500 for everything.
Here's what I did after I bought the car. I bought a rolling frame for $1000 (which was already painted black, 1980 or 81 with the upgraded aluminum rear axle), a pair of convertible only” doors from Arizona for $500 w/shipping and brand new True-flex bumper covers ($500 total) and alot of other parts this car should need. There is an 80-81 model cover on the car right now which was put on to see what it would look like only. This car runs (when warmed up) and drives but has no brakes.
Here is the story. I decided to purchase this car as my next project after I finished my 1957 Chevy 210 which still isn’t finished. Then we bought a farm which turned out to be quite the fixer upper and the cars have sat in my new heated garage ever since. I am not hurting for the money; I’m just tired of waiting until I have time to work on the cars. I want a toy now. I would love a nice driving 1978 to 1981 Z/28 with a 4 speed. I just bought a 1981 Z/28 but it is an automatic and it has T-tops.
Massachusetts title in hand. Buy the car for only $5,800 but this does not include the parts. Or Buy the car and all the parts for $7500.
***NOTE*** Please be aware that this is a restoration project. This vehicle comes with no warranty. As is where is.
The numbers off the car are as follows: • VIN is 1Z67J5S400831 • Engine is 15S400831 V1010CHR • Transmission is 15S400831 ( tag on case is 263 750K018) • A/C compressor has code 071941, Model # 5910741 • Air pump number is 7817872 • Carb.7045 222 R6 2894, 6 74 with clock numbers 1705194 and 170571363
I cannot see the frame number or the differential but it has the red limited slip tag. I do have more photographs of the frame rot and the new frame.
If you want to ask any questions email me first and I will send my number.
Make me an offer for the total package only because the "buy it now" is firm.
