| 1) What we have here is a very nice 1968 driver quality painted,entry level Chrome bumper BB 4speed corvette roadster!! The 68-72 corvettes are one of if not the hottest corvettes on the market right now! They are still affordable unlike the mid year 63-67 that are getting out of the average guys price range! Real corvette 427 engine (not a 91 trruck 454 or changed out to a sb) 4 speed convertible corvette!! This is a very nice driver quality painted,all new suspension,exhaust rebuilt drive train, very clean California car!! About the car OK this car came from California in 94 with 63,000 miles on it and the frame/birdcage shows it! (very clean). The current owner has receipts showing at least 11,500 in repairs and work done to this car in the past 8-10 years (engine,suspension,exhaust,body,etc..) with only a max of 2-3000 miles being put on the car in that time frame which is documented with a copy of the title from cali. and work orders showing documented mileage changes of only 1-2 hundred miles at a time in a 6-8 yr period. In 2000 the car had 63,931 miles on it and now shows 65,140. The car has all new suspension, exhaust, emblems, it has a rebuilt 66-67 corvette 427 cast number(3869942) rebuilt with solid lifters and less than 3000 miles on it. The intake is a rare 454-450hp or a 396-375 hp low rise gm unit topped with a new holley 750 carb. dont have the head numbers sorry. This is backed by a 64-66 muncie 4 speed trans (3861325 Po 828) and a posi rear (gear ratio unknown). It has a new fuel tank as well so there is no tank sticker so i cannot say this is a true factory BB car but it dose have gm correct BB hood,radiator,tach,and rear sway bar!! The suspension was completely gone through new springs,shocks,ball joints,bushings,etc....many many new parts have been put on this car such as all new emblems,weather stripping(doors,windows etc..) and on and on!!! The car has a crack in the windshield, a few chips and scratches in the paint, a leak in the power steering, the wipers and head lights are not working at present but all the vac. hoses are there, and the interior could use some attention. This car originaly being from California (has copy of title when brought to illinois) has an EXCELLENT frame and birdcage!! The car being from california was believed to have been ordered with no top so there is no top soft or hard on the car. 65,140 miles. May 5, 2008.
