| 1969 Chevrolet Corvette for parts or restoration. If it is ever restored a different frame will be required. The story told by prior owners is that it was parked in 1983, still has plates from then on it. Owner left it parked in a wooded area on the ground. The frame has rusted beyond repair. The engine and transmission are intact and look to be complete. I am told that the number all match but I have not been able to verify that for myself. I recently bought it at a liqudation auction of a well known Corvette and classic car collector. I am sure that there is more money to make by parting the car out by I don't have time right now and if someone wants to rebuild the car I would rather see that happen. The body has some cracks, left door is in very poor condition. Left front fender has large crack. Rear bumper is twisted. Vinyl top has tears. soft top is in car, I havr not attempted to take it out so with it in storage position I cannot tell its condition. I have not tried to turn the engine over so I don't know for sure if it is stuck or not. I can help load vehicle onto a truck or trailer, it does not roll well and tries to break in half while loading. I think the car gets a little worse each time it is moved. Selling as is with bill of sale from a licensed and bonded Maine used car dealer. Maine does not issue titles for vehicles 1994 and earlier. We can provide a letter from DMV that states title law. I had a couple people ask for the vin, the tag on windshield post has rusted away. Motor pad says V0626HW. 66,220 miles from the odometer. $3,500 with no reserve. June 19, 2015. |
