| New Fathom Green paint on great body (no panel changes, patches or significant repairs). Original 350 hp 350 cid engine. Original 4 speed manual transmission and differential. New stainless calipers. Comes with tank sheet (absolutely not a reproduction document!). The entire chassis and interior is original/never restored. The frame and birdcage are fantastic with NO rot EVER! Needs new soft top, top frame is great, just need the top itself. Car comes with a vinyl covered hard top from a different car (interior of hard top is tan that can certainly be dyed to match). The engine compartment has been freshened up and put back to original look. Ignition shields are all in place with the wires run as they should be. The new body paint is just the outside of the body as the jambs have original paint/decals. This car has the original AM/FM radio that works great. The gauges, tach, speedo, all warning lights, fiber optics, and even the original (not quartz replacement) clock works! The headlight/wiper vacuum system works as well. Here’s a great car that doesn’t need a bunch of work to fix all the broken things on most old ‘vettes. I bought this car for me to enjoy in retirement, now a physical roadblock is requiring an automatic transmission for me. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is O31. 106,000 miles. July 15, 2008. |
